The return of the 21st Annual Leverick Bay Poker Run!
Sunday, May 25th 2025 – Registration begins at 8am on the dock at Leverick Bay, or pre-register ONLINE to save time.
The run starts at 11am, leaving Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda. ALL BOATS BACK AT LEVERICK BAY BY 5PM.
The After Party starts at Leverick Bay at 5pm, with the Prize Giving Ceremony, Mr. Nice Guy Fashion Show, Live DJ’s and cold drinks with your host, Heavy B.
During the Leverick Bay Poker Run, participants travel a pre-designated route, drawing a card at each stop until they complete the route at Leverick Bay Resort & Marina. At the end of the journey, participants holding the best poker hands are crowned Poker Run champions. Prizes given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place hands.
About the Leverick
Bay Poker Run
This year’s Leverick Bay Poker Run marks the 21st anniversary of a legendary event that has drawn the attention of thousands of nautical enthusiasts to the waters of the British Virgin Islands. During the Leverick Bay Poker Run, participants travel over a predetermined route and, at each stop on the way, draw a playing card until they complete the itinerary at Leverick Bay Resort & Marina. At the end of the journey, participants holding the best five-card poker hand are crowned as the Poker Run victors. The Poker Run has become a national holiday in the BVIs, attracting a large number of visitors from the USVI and Puerto Rico.
Charity
A significant portion of donations from our sponsors – be it monetary, gifts or in-kind sponsorships – and a portion of the Poker Run participants’ entry fees, are donated to numerous Charitable Foundations on Virgin Gorda. Last year in 2024, we donated $19,000 split between the RawSkillz Track Club, and Animal Rescue and Control (ARC). Over the past 20 years, your sponsorships and donations have allowed us to contribute over $179,000 USD to charity. These funds are so important for the wellbeing of our island.
